Omar Pena-Estrada

Omar joined Blue River Plumbing September 2020 as Superintendent and worked his way up as Lead Superintendent.  Omar was born in Mexico City, Mexico and raised in Kansas City where English became his second language.  He attended Kansas City Community College and during this time he was accepted and hired into the Plumber’s Union Local 8.  He completed a 5-year apprenticeship and obtained his Journeyman license while working for P1 Group for 7 years.  He holds certifications in welding, back flow testing and repair, and medical gas.  He continued his education for graphic design and detailing and feels blessed to have been introduced to Blue River and the opportunity to join our team where he runs jobs and our total station.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, anything outdoors and socializing.
